We are getting cash free

From 1 April will we no longer accept payments with cash, only payments by card. We accepts most payment cards – except American Express.

Why are we taking this step?

Nowadays, it takes a lot of effort to handle cash, both for our volunteers who are manning our events, and for our cashier who has to make sure the cash flow is correct.

There is also high fees involved when handling cash. It is way more expensive than card payments. There is a fee when buying cash. There is also a fee when depositing cash at the bank.

The law against money laundering makes the administration regarding both buying cash, and depositing cash, difficult.
