Our memberships

SLM Stockholm’s membership cards are, deliberately, neutral and do not show any information about the member on the card itself.

Please note: When a membership is paid for and the membership card is activated at our club, it can take up to two weeks before the information has been (manually) verified and is synchronized to all systems. During this time a membership may show as Not valid, or show an error message, when verified outside our club.

 

Full year membership

  • Valid for 12 consecutive months.
  • Valid at SLM Stockholm and our brotherhood clubs within the Top of Europe (ToE) and ECMC networks.
  • Gives member access to benefits at our local partners.
  • Gives discount on ticket fees for special events.

Membership card

  • Plastic, CR80 (credit card) sized.
  • Contains an NFC chip so the card can be used to open our front door during normal opening hours.

Front side

  • Only shows our logotype

Back side

  • Shows information that the card should be regarded as a valuable, and to contact us if the card is lost or found.
  • Shows a barcode which only holds the cards serial number.
  • Shows a QR-code which is an URL (link) to a webpage showing if the card is valid, and if it holds a valid membership.

 

Temporary membership

  • Valid for 30 consecutive days.
  • Only valid at SLM Stockholm.

  • Cardboard, business card sized.

  • Only shows our logotype

Back side

  • Shows information that the card should be regarded as a valuable, and to contact us if the card is lost or found.
  • Shows a barcode which only holds the cards serial number.

Scan the membership cards QR-code with a device, like a smartphone, and follow the link.

The link opens a webpage that for a limited time shows the type of membership and if the membership is valid.

  • Type of membership:
    can be Temporary or Full Year
  • Valid:
    can be Valid or Not valid
  • Valid to
    until which date membership is valid
  • Status ToE/ECMC
    can be Valid or Not valid
    if Valid, this membeship is valid within the ToE and ECMC networks
    this is also indicated by the logotypes below members name
  • Member name
    Shows the member’s first name, and the first letter of the member’s family name.

Misuse of membership card

If you have reason to believe that the person presenting the membership card is not the membership holder, you are encouraged to ask for a valid identification. Should the information prove incorrect, please report misuse (date of misuse, id-card holders name, and the cards serial number) to info@slmstockholm.se
